I know that through 555 timer we can make an Astable multiviberator for generating Pulses or oscillations. Can I generate only four pulses through the 555 timer and then timer turns off automatically? if this is possible then plz send me the circuit which should be added with the 555 timer for generating only four pulses?

You could cascade four 555 monostables. the pulse from the first one would trigger the second and so on for your four pulses.

Think about a decade counter; such a device could be configured to produce four pulses.

Paste this into falstad.com/circuit (under File>Import):

I'll leave it up to you to figure out how to stop it pulsing initially when it turns on. The button otherwise controls it.

Two timers, one to pulse them, one to control them.

A timer connected to the reset line of a second timer will disable it, just work out the timing.

A $2 8 pin microcontroller will easily do this with no other parts. If you need a simple one to work with, try the Picaxe. All you need is the uC and a cheap programming cable that you can make yourself if you want. 3 manuals, a simulator and the easy to use Basic program are all free on their website. They have a very good forum and provide all the help you could want.
