    (77*100/90) = 85.556. I believe you are asking 90% of what value will give you 77.

    Simple method of three:
    X=unknown percentage.
    C=your current score
    T=the best score for the specific test

    X=C/T*100 (in %)

    If you know your percentage in the test, and you know the percentage of the test in the total grade, then your contribution to your total grade is
    X=final contribution
    T=test contribution
    S=your score in the test in percentage

    X=T*S

    Does that help?

    Can you try to explain what you have and what you want a bit better? I don't understand what you want to achieve.

    Um,

    For example, the percentage is 75% and its value is 3.. So how to know the denominator of the 3? In this case, its 4...\frac{3}{4}=75%

    MMMM, the denominator now is missing,,,<br><br>\frac{77}{?}=90%

    plllllllllllllllllllllllls help....

    0.9=\frac{77}{max score}

    Divide 77 by .9
    and about 85.5 (?!) points were available, if 77 points correct gave you 90%
