I'm thinking of building this circuit but am curious as to how the Capacitor values are determined by the circuit designer. I am especially curios as to the method that is used to determine these values;

Cap between PIN 3 on first IC to PIN 2 on the second IC
Cap connected from PIN 5 on each IC to GROUND
Cap between the 2K resistor and the 100K resistor.

Based on your informative post the correct value should be 6.98. The formula for calculating it is 1/0.143266.
