Read the site's e-book starting with Vol. 1 DC. Once you understand enough you could move on to the experiments in Vol. 6.

This should start you off with basic Ohms Law, resistors, etc.

On a side note, I do not believe this is the appropriate forum for this thread. It should be off in the general electronics forum.
