Hi,
I am wanting to turn a 2 LED flasher into a 3 LED flasher. i have attached the current circuit drawing. Could anyone explain to me how this could be done if it is even possible?

Cheers

Nope, not with that transistor configuration, but there are many circuits that will do it. For example, 3 monostables feeding each other.

What are you trying to do?

If you want the LEDs to go in a complete cycle, Fenris did something like that recently. You can also adjust the speed of the LEDs alternating.

Actually, it CAN be added on to in order to create a 3-phase flasher; like this:

R5 is a slightly lower value (95k vs 100k) in order to get the simulation going. Normal tolerances in component values would be sufficient to get the circuit oscillating; it might take a few seconds to get going.
