Hi guys, working on another project,
a 220 volt controller for a crawfish pot

right now, i can control the element using the pot, and eyeballing the amps
what I would like to do. is install a temp probe in the pot
to control the ssr is this doable ?

what would I need to do it ?

You could just use a PID loop controller. They cost under $20 for a basic one.

You can use a digital thermostat upto 120C, or if its higher a thermocouple.
