am doing a project on designing a ceramic oscillator fm transmitter. am having problems finding formulae or information on calculating component required in a colpitts oscillator using varicap to modulate and a ceramic resonator. help me pliz!

A colpit oscillator requires resistor capacitor, transistor and an inductor.
The transistor is bias using voltage divider principle.
The feedback cct is connected to the collector & it require to 2 capacitor in series parallel to an inductor & to the ground. The point of connection of the capacitor is also connected to grnd.
F=1/(2*3.142*sqrt of LC)
C=c1c2/c1+c2

Not always and a crystal based Colpitts doesn't require and inductor either.
