how to calculate this questions power

    Hi

    Being a crusty old technician, I'll just look at the circuit as essentially 15 ohms resistance with a 100 volt source. That makes circuit current 6.666 amps. The current divides through the parallel elements, so the resistor should have 3.333 amps flowing through it.
