How to calculate origonal voltage when using DBT?

    I have an arcing problem in the high voltage power circuit in my Protek 6502 oscilloscope.It doesnt arc when I use my dim bulb tester though so I made up a 1.100 high voltage probe to connect to my DMM. The voltage is supposed to be neg dc -1900v, with the DBT in series I get around -1470v.Ive searched around but I cant find how much voltage drop the DBT causes and what the right voltage would be? Any help would be appreciated.

    First, do you have the schematic? Owner's Manual, Operators Manual, anything for documentation?
    Second, What is a "dim bulb tester"?
    Third, What is a 1.100 high voltage probe?
