How many turns in an audio transformer?

I did this one when I was around ten and I'm 39 now.
This is the original manual, don't know what happened to the radio.

On the right stations, in the quietness of night, I could easily hear it through the earpiece without needing it in my ear

The only thing that ever topped this was my first computer several years later,
and I think this radio is the cause of a lot of my interest now.
I'm still chasing the genuine cat's whisker radio that I wasn't around for.

How did it go?

It occurred to me, although I moved around a lot, I'm only a few kilometres now from
where I lived when I first made one, so I put the same schematic back together again,
and the same result! I get about three clear stations :)
Not bad for a few parts soldered together.

If you are asking me, it hasn't gone yet. We had too many higher priority things, such as dealing with the carbon monoxide detector going off, and it just didn't happen. I'm now forcing myself not to touch it until after I get through final exams and have grades posted. So hopefully I can start playing with it in earnest next Monday or Tuesday.

I will definitely let you know. In fact, I have a twist on the classic radio that, if it works, I will put a Completed Projects post together on it.
