Norwegians have better cars than Americans I think, on average. In my mind's eye, 4 out of every 5 Norwegians has at least a mercedes or High end BMW in their driveway.

This is the impression I get from the pics posted by my Norwegian friends on facebook (I have lots). Could be that I just know a bunch of upper class Norwegians, but I doubt it; I know these guys personally, and they don't seem like they hail from the upper rungs of their society.

My Dad also had a Morris Wagon with the wood trim. I was looking on this pic for the turn signals; my Dad's had little flags that stuck out from the sides to indicate a turn...
