If there are 7 girls in a bus, and each girl has seven bags and there are 7 big cats in each bag, and each big cat has 7 small cats with it, then, how many legs are there in the bus?

7 times 7 times 7 + 2 (for the driver) = 345 LEGS

(7 time 2) * 7 bags * (7 times 4) big cats * (7 time 4) small cats + 2 driver = 76, 834

7 girls x 2 = 14
7 girls x 7 bags x 7 big cats x 4 = 1372
7^3 x 7 small cats x 4 = 9604
driver x 2 = 2

= 10,992

That's assuming the bus contains no amputees, boys, or centipedes.

If there are 4 rooms, each having four corners. In each corner there are 2 spider webs.12 of the webs have three small spiders each. The remaining webs have 3 big spiders each.Every big spider have 12 small spiders. Two boys three cats and 1 monkey are also present in the rooms. How many legs are in the rooms?:p:p:p

i was wondering where did this one go wrong,
wont that mean each girl has two legs and each leg has 7 bags, each cat has 4 legs and each leg has 7 kittens.:D
this is a legendary question.:D

help! I only have one head...yet having lots of headache...:D
(12*3 +20*3*12)8 + 2*2 +3*4 +2*1....
does a monkey have 4 legs or two hands...and two legs?
does a spider have 8 legs or six legs..i dont remember....(or is it a spiderman?)

4*4=16 corners
16*2=32 webs
32 - 12 = 20 webs w/ big spiders
20*3 = 60 big spiders
(60*12) + (12*3)= 756 small spiders
30+756 = 786 spiders total

756*8 + 2*2 + 3*4 + monkey = 6066 legs in the building

That would make 6132 toes, unless one ore more of the cats are polydactl.

(Any math errors are to be blamed on my keyboard, not on me. Honest.)

A normal spider have 8 legs.

Everyones answer is wrong :p .Try agin;).

Thingmaker the question is to calculate legs:p.

And according to thingmaker a cat have 18 toes........maybe there are 10 toes in the forward claws and 8 in backward claws.

Brainteaser has been in the proximity of a cat!:D They do indeed have only four toes on each back foot. Same as dogs. Note that I am indeed counting the dew-claw as a toe.
I still maintain my keyboard is to blame for any errors!

pretty well....from personal experience:(
the cat looked something like this  that time.

is this a trick question?
are some small spiders common or something...or any calculation error..
maybe the for corners of my mind got webs over them.:D
