I have a 230v to 15v converter module which specifies to use 0.1uF/50v and 47uF/50v capacitors at its output. How do I find the tolerance value required? How are generally this things decided? I have attached the datasheet of the power module.

Those are filter/decoupling capacitors and their actual value is usually non-critical, so parts with any available tolerance for their value will be fine.

Thanks. So you mean to say that the values are randomly selected? If in case tolerance is critical, how does one find out the correct value?
