How hard would this project be?

    Hello guys,

Next semester I will take a very difficult course about microprocessor interfacing. I will be in a group of four and we have to make a project that involved microcontrollers. Our idea was to make a "simple" wireless charger. How difficult would this be? Is it something that we could make in a semester?

We were also planning on using NFC tags and programming them for various functions like, for example, starting to charge with the wireless charger once it scans the tag.

    What do you guys think?

There's a how-to article in the August 2013 issue of Nuts and Volts; it uses a PICAXE μC.

This is great help. Thank you very much for notifying that. Is Nuts and Volts a good magazine? I've never looked into it.

I subscribe to it; not everything in every issue interests me, but enough that I continue to pay.
