How hard is it to create a camera circuit?

    Hi Everyone.
    I just have a quick question on how hard is it to put together a CMOS camera that will record to a SD card. Just simple like that.

    They have a bunch of camera products, including breakouts with schematics, on Many times the datasheets will have sample circuits in them as well.

    Here is one that can be had for under $10, if you look around, and the timing is right. They go on sale often.

    I got two a while back, with intent of adding a microcontroller and PIR motion sensor, which haven't gotten around too... For the price, it's not that bad. One bad thing though, they don't save your settings and adjustments, when you turn the power off. Every time you want to use it, you got to go through, and set everything to your liking, lots of options for such a cheap camera. Not great in low light either. Small, rugged, and cheap though.
