    Hello,

I sometimes use the report button to give some reply to some posts that are unwanted (SPAM).
Does it work for all the post of the SPAMMER?
Do the formleaders get a notice that I have done this?

    Greetings,
    Bertus

The report button sends an alert email message to all of the moderators so that they may take action as soon as they spot the email.

And from there the user profile will show the other posts, or the forum software will ban and remove all their posts?

Bill is correct. Moderators have several options when dealing with threads or posts that have been reported.

    These options range from:

    - No action
    - Selective editing of a post to remove offensive items
    - Thread/post Deletion
    - Permanent ban of the member that posted the offensive thread/reply.

The last option is reserved for the overt spam related threads/posts and is fairly draconian in scope.
