Hello there,
I am designing an electric field mill that captures electric charges via a sensor plate and displays the result on an oscilloscope. I want to build a simple charge amplifier that can amplify the output from the sensor into something bigger, but simply dont know how to start. Any ideas?

 

Not sure if this would work, but perhaps use a JFET or MOSFET as a source follower, with the sensor plate on the gate?
