Hello all,

Stuck on the last question for an assingment, which has really stumped me as i have recently been ill so missed a few lessons!

"A 3 Phase 6 pole 50Hz induction motor has rotor resistance per phase of 0.2 ohms and a reactance 0.9 ohms per phase. At what speed will it produce maximum torque. Also, what resistance must be added at start up and 600 revs/min.

:/ Any help is much appreciated as i am not even sure how to start to answer this question!!
