Hi to all, I'm building a big Tesla Coil, I want to see BIG SPARKS . I saw that when I increase frequency sparks was brighter. So I was thinking in building a higher frequency PWM. I have 555 PWM circuit that can go up to 500KHz but I need more... Can anyone give me a suggestion on building higher frequency PWM, some MHz type like 10 MHz or something... Thank you.... You might want to read up on Tesla coils. They are resonant devices. PWM has no particular application.

Yes I know I made one....
But I saw that when increasing a frequency I get amazing effects... I can even transmit power wirelessly. I can make pulses with capacitors and spark gaps but i thought to make it a solid state.... I saw that max038 can go up to 20 Mhz but I can find it in my area... Do you now of some replacement?
