So what I want to do is make my old desktop speakers bluetooth using the HMDX jam classic since it has really poor battery life. I plan to retain the auxiliary input from the hmdx so I can still choose to plug in other wires if wanted. Here are the links to the speakers specifically being used http://olx.in/item/sony-vaio-powered-multimedia-speaker-pcva-sp2-IDPE30I.html -desktop speakers http://www.jamaudio.com/products-1/jam-classic-wireless-bluetooth-speaker -The HMDX jamspeaker. If you could point me in the right direction to start this that would be great, and yes I have a soldering iron and other tools. Here are what I found for the jam's processor

Thanks for the help guys....... But I was able to finish the project on my own using a little trial and error but in the end I was able to make a bluetooth splitter with an aux out/aux in and an optional off/on speaker.
