Help... Zero crossing question!

    Hello,

    I have been told that certain SSR's don't have the zero switching (crossing) option built in. Does this mean that the SSR would turn on at whatever point the AC cycle is at the moment I apply voltage to the SSR's input?

    yes, it will conduct from the start to the end
