Help with wah wah pedal potentiometer

    im building a wah wah effect pedal. i have the circuit built already. it uses a 50k log pot with 300 degrees of rotation. this is a problem because the pedal is going to be about 45 degrees. i attached a drawing of what i think will work. i just need some help calculating the values. i think that to get the full range of resistance i will need a larger pot to go with the external resistors. thank you :)

    Guess I am not quite understanding the question. Looks like the schematic is correct....Craig Anderton is a solid designer.
    The 50K pot will give you an adequate filter range in this circuit.

    i guess what im trying todo is reduce the number of degrees from 300 as is, to about 45 degrees for a pedal while keeping the resistance range.

    it's a mechanical solution i think. pedals such as this will have a grooved 'knob', or sprocket rather, and a grooved stick dangling from the pedal.
    i think i've seen a kind of 'belt' system to do this also.
