I need to build a timer that will trigger a relay from 1- 10mins to choose. it has to run off 9VDC and have a 'start' pushbutton, it is a school project, it should be simple, thanks guys

Have you thought of a 555, or is there a reason you can't use it?

If I understand what you are saying, you want to turn on a relay for a variable time after pressing a button, correct?

You might get a response via email, but generally that isn't how it works on this site.
