I would like to hook my power planer to my vacuum ( shop vac)so when I trun on the planer switch the vacuum comes on at the same time with the same switch.
Both are 120 vac

Is a contactor the best way to do this?
I have a Teco 120v ciol 25 amp contactor will this do the trick?
