Hello, I've come across a source rearrangement technique described briefly in an analog electronics textbook. I can not seem to find more information on the technique, its validity, a proof, reasons why it simplifies analysis, and/or its formal naming.

Thank you for the reference, but that's not really what I was looking for (a little too basic). It appears the diagram I posted is revealing something about impedance matching between two networks. I'd like to see more detailed analysis and examples of this type of circuit problem.

As well, here is another, similar diagram that has caused confusion in my studies. Even if someone can not provide relevant reading, it would be helpful to know *how* to search google for this type of thing.
