help to identify part please

    hi can any one help to identify this part it has no writing on the side
    the circuit board is for a simple 4 light 240V light sequencer sound activated as well

    from what I can tell and where it is located on the circuit (+VCC), I would say it is a fuse for the transistors/Mosfets....

    I would say that the black stripe identifies it as a jumper, dressed up as a zero ohm resistor. The ones I use have beige phenolic bodies, but the stripe is the same. Classier than clipped off resistor leads.

    It is a jumper, what BeenThere said.

    Machine component placing makes it easier to put in a resistor shaped object than a bare wire. So, they coat a bare wire with a resistor shape, put a single black band on it, and use that instead.
