    Hi all,

I am trying to make a shadow light wall that is similar to this but in a much smaller scale. I'm using 64 photocells and 64 LED and basically want the LEDs to light up wherever shadow casts. I'm using Arduino Duemilanove to program and power this system.

So far I have connected all photocells using 9 multiplexers(HCF4051) -one master chip controlling 8 chips- and they are working. Now I'm trying to wire LEDs in the same way using 9 addressable latches (HCF4099) but having trouble figuring out the schematic for this. Does anyone know how to wire multiple 4099s in a way that one master chip is controlling 8 others?

Also, I'm having lots of problem with the code for this system.. If anyone know of a good example code I can take a look at, I would appreciate it.

Thank you very much in advance and hope someone can help.

astig! it means cool in our language.. hehe.. i cant imagine wher u will put the photocell, coz if the photocell detects the shadow, the led will light, then the photocell, will detect it again.. hay..
