Help req. for rf data beacon..

    i m a first timer regarding antennas...
    could someone provide me ideas and links for a data beacon..
    i m looking for something that transmits a series of bits lets say 10111101 continuously when the circuit is switched on...

    forgot to mention that the rf frequency would be in the range 26-27 mhz..

    You're right in the 11 meter CB radio band so it better be rather low power in nature unless you're using it as a very intermittent signalling device.

    You can buy those children's walkie-talkie sets for about $5 at the dollar stores and take your chances as to what channel they're set to but it will be around there. Couple your datat input to the input of the modulator and you're good to go so long as your data stream isn't running very fast.
