Hi All,

I'm an undergrad student who is currenly doing my final year project on fault detection and isolation systems for recharagble batteries. I've came up with the following overdischarge protection scheme using psim but I'm not coming out with the correct output logic when the cell is discharging at a higher discharge level as compared to the reference signal. Please do advice me on my mistakes.

Thanks and regards
Jolene

Perhaps you'd better explain what you want your schematic simulation to do. Provide a brief summary of input ranges and expected output conditions. What do the various elements represent, and so forth?

Curious use of the 0.05Ω feedback on the comparators ...? These are not operational amplifiers.

Huh, that circuit seems pretty wrong to me, how do you expect to measure the discharge rate, did you mean to measure current?
