I am a grad student and have been using PSIM v8.0.3 for my thesis project. My PSIM program uses a power electronic converter (3-phase ac/ac) that steps down 60 Hz ac voltage. On its output side, there is a 3-phase inductor.
Problem: Till now, my circuit worked perfectly well! But, yesterday when I ran the simulations I was getting erroneous results and I have not made any changes to my program. I saw that one of my output current in the inductor was suddenly (at a random point) falling to a low value instantaneously. There is no switching event happening at this time. Sometimes, this current spike disappears when I place current probes at random points.
Has anyone faced this/similar problem with PSIM? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
