I made this schematic based off a pre existing board in my lab that i have to replace. My faculty adviser said to reorganize it to be more standard and easier to read. He said something about signal flow organization or something... Im pretty sure he wants all the components that are in parallel to be vertical across the schematic, but im having trouble visualizing this. If anyone can draw a quick sketch or even edit my multisim schematic, that would be great!!

I basically made the schematic just how the board looks, which makes it hard to read. I need help reorganizing it to be more standard and professional. If anyone wants the multisim file, I have that as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the schematic:

Thanks and happy thanksgiving!

omonoid,

I will assume that we can change the placement of connectors.

Think about this:
1/ all the leds D1 to D20 are connected to the connector J1 but the leds and the connector are perpendicular. Shouldn't it more logic to put them in parallel?

2/ All pins in J2 are somehow connected to J1, so once again, you should look at putting these 2 connectors in parallel.

3/ same for the left-part of your circuit

Try to arrange in this way, details about crossing traces will come after.
