No. How about this: you go through the link, think about what it says, think about what you want to know, formulate a question, and then ask that question. Include a schematic.

trying to use an lm386 for a phono amp isnt a good idea. most phono pickups today are dynamic, and have very low voltage outputs. use a preamp.

The OP authored the link and has received the answer there. I'd say this is done unless he comes back.

    Cross posting... Grrr.

"I'm so useless and lazy I can't be bothered cutting and pasting the same question in two places, so just go to this other link and help me". :(

Most "instructables" aren't very instructive. Why don't you simply state what you want to accomplish, and someone here will likely be able to help. For example, here is a project that I completed using the LM386. The design is largely taken from the LM386 datasheet (which you should download and read.)

LM386 would be a poor choice for a guitar amplifier.

    Hello,

For some Audio Amplifier projects, you could look in the "Completed Projects Index":

The LM386 will not make a great guitar amp, but it will make a decent practice amp if you add a preamp stage to the front end. Read this thread and you will find the details of one that I built, which worked fairly well for practice.
