    Hey all,

Hopefully this is the right location for my question. I'm reaching the bounds of my expertise (I'm a software person, not as much a hardware person).

I'm trying to identify a CMOS/CCD (not sure which) camera being used for capturing fingerprints so I can find a driver (or at least some information) to code against. Our vendor is rather tight-lipped (no-name Chinese company) and won't provide us with any info. My google-fu has failed me as well, maybe someone here has an idea?

Looks like one of those sensors that used to be on old APC fingerprint readers...not sure though.

Good Luck, if you are not committed to that exact reader might look for one with a USB interface that works with Direct Show. Then you won't need a driver and you can use the Direct Show API to talk to it.
