I'm confused .... can any one help

if we have a shift in time domain does it matter if it is right or left shift
when we find the fourier Transform ????

It does matter. Look at the "time shift" property here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourier_transform

if the shift is to the right the the Fourier_transform is multiplied by exp(-jwto) ,
however, if the shift is to the left the it is multiplied by exp(+jwto).
