    Hi;

    I'm confused .... can any one help :confused:

    if we have a shift in time domain does it matter if it is right or left shift
    when we find the fourier Transform ???? :confused:

    It does matter. Look at the "time shift" property here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourier_transform

    if the shift is to the right the the Fourier_transform is multiplied by exp(-jwto) ,
    however, if the shift is to the left the it is multiplied by exp(+jwto).
