I am working on a Todd Power Supply model 2xs14181. I have found a shorted diode/rectifier(??) with the Motorola markings as follows:

B10
B14
ZP

I assume it a propritary marking and can't find a cross for it. Repair for this unit is $325 but I'm sure this componet is around $.50.

Does anyone know how to cross these parts?

 

I've searched around a bit and it looks like it might be a zener.

Google up... Semiconductor cross-reference... Odds are you will find what you need.

 

I've been Googling for a while and it brought me to this forum. From what I found, Motorola (and others) have their own numbering system to keep others from repairing propritary equipment. A little more info on this device is that it is a surface mount componet.

I found it. It can be foung from ON Semiconductors part number SS12, SS14 suface mount Schottky Power Rectifier. If you searce long enough on Google, you will find it. Thanks all!
