What is the total voltage with the forward conduction drop of a diode figured in? And then what is the current through the resistor?

Which diode, D1 or D2, do you, the OP think is conducting?

What is the Vf (forward conduction drop) of the diodes assuming they both were Si or Ge?

What is the voltage across R1 and the current through R1?

Where is the common point for the Vx measurement?

Those are the questions you should consider when solving this problem.
