I am installing a remote start in a diesel. There is no wait to start wire but I was able to tap into to console light output to get 2 volts out (LED).There are not any other higher volt tap offs (every thing is digital) The remote starter is looking for an absence of ground to start to vehicle. Under normal circumstances I would use a SPDT relay to solve the problem. Use the poles to pull towards the ground when the light is on, release when it's off. But considering the voltage is not enough to throw the arm. Was hoping someone had an idea that's not to complicated.
