Hi, Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I have recently been given this electric motor off a saw bench, I did not receive any switch gear with it, what you see in the picture is exactly how I got it.I have been trying to work out how to connect it to a 240v 13A supply with a basic on / off switch as in the picture. The trouble I am having is working out which wire is which, Live and Neutral and what the 2 other wires are for. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have attached photos, and I have NOT changed any wires, this is how I received it.

Thanks Jay15697623_10211879731416530_13451746976245457_n.jpg 15697974_10211879735696637_5280093379819978171_n.jpg 15726214_10211879731336528_8002137540292817970_n.jpg 15822758_10211879731616535_4726596180482757333_n.jpg s-l500.jpg

The white wires might have labels on them. Can you look? The labels might be numbers (T1, T2, T3 for example) or it could be letters (U, V, W for example).

Do you have a cover/lid for that electrical box? Often they have a schematic for the connection on the inside of the cover/lid.
