this is the first time im dealing with microcontrollers
i just want to know if my choice is good

i have A PROJECT to process human sound automatically
the controlling must be using USB interface
the processing to noise and echo cancelation
then transimt the sound bACK without saving it

i must do that with uControllers not DSPs

    i choose PIC18 and dsPIC30F

i choose pic18 bcoz im intersted in the USB interface
and i chhose dsPIC30F bcoz this support noise andecho cancelation library

is it good or not ???

Ok the dsPIC30 is a dsP. So I would look at the PIC18 - PIC32. Each one will be more powerful. Surely a dsPIC would be better for this but if you can't use a DSP then your gonna be looking at the others. I would suggest a PIC24 because it has most of the power and features of the PIC32 but cheaper. But you may want to ask your teacher or boss if you can use a dspic. They may just mean you can't use a true blue full fleged dsp.
