Hey, having some problem in this type of circuit. Can I use LM 35 as the heat sensor ? Or any other sensor which is better to sense heat from a distance ? HELP....URGENT :(

What type of circuit?
Can I use LM 35 as the heat sensor?

It’s a temperature sensor, and heat could describe by temperature so yes LM35 could be used.

Any temperature sensor can sense heat, if you keep it away from the source of heat then it will measure the ambient temperature of the heat source , obviously the measurement will depend on how far you are measuring.

Thermocouples could also be used as temperature sensor.

Good Luck

I am doing heat detector circuit..

But LM 35 I need to bring the heat and touch the boayd of LM 35 then only the voltage changes?

As far as I know almost all heat detectors are contact or ambient (air contact). The only heat detectors that measure from a "distance" are infrared optical sensors.
