Lo is the designation that wire is to be connected to the "ground" of the respective audio circuit, i.e. Mic Lo ties to the Mic ground and Audio Lo ties to the headphone amplifier ground. These are likely to be kept separate.

Do you have a pinout of how to wire the XLR connector? Are you using PTT?

According the headset PDF, there are several mic options. Which mic do you have? All the headphone impedance says 300Ω "per system", so I'm guessing that it is 600Ω per earpiece, since they could be wired either mono or stereo.

I will have to check if it's a dynamic or a condenser mic. I hope it's dynamic the base station that I need to hook it up to only has a dynamic option. No no PTT.

The base station is a Telex RTS Digital Intercom similar to that one

And here's the actual headset that we use for now

I was thinking of using the same wiring as that headset but that one is mono only so I would put the L-R wire on the same XLR pin.

It's the second one. The screen (shield) goes to body of the plug.
