headlight dimmer

    In the 1950's, dimers used a CdS cell and amplifier to sense light intensity. When it was "enough", the headlamps dimmed through a relay.

    If that is the question, the answer to that question is... No. :eek:


    You should also realize that a headlight "dimmer" does not actually 'dim' the headlights. It switches to a second set of filaments in the headlights that are pointed at a lower angle. So the problems is not actually a "dimmer", it is a "switch".

    Now maybe you can ask a better question. :D

    Are you talking about Railway Engines, Automobilrs, mining helmets, models or what?

    What do you mean by 'automatic'
