Hey guys,
I just build a protoboard circuit from the attached image. I am getting a lot of background noise and a loud pop. The back groud noise comes from both when I am using the amp and when I am just playing it from the A plus chip. But I only get the pop (at the beginning and end of every message) when I am using the LM386. I tried using a bigger resistor from the sound chip to the amp and I still get the noise. Please help
