Have a ? about Op Amp?

    in my book they say: If the (+) input is above the (-) input, the output is above ground and at +Vsat. Does that mean the output is positive? then: If the (+) input is below the (-) input, the output is below ground at -Vsat. Does that mean the output is negative?

    As long as ground is the reference point, then
    yes, the output is negative with respect to ground.
