    Hi all,

I am going to use the ACS755 current sensor, but am not sure how to connect it. If I connect it as shown in the diagram attached, will it work?? (Note: I did the diagram so I'm not sure if it is connected correctly or not)

    Thanks in advance.

The power track should be cut so tht current passes through the sensor.

The two huge tabs are in/out or the current shunt

    See the pdf

Thanks for the reply. Is this IC obsolete ?
Should I use the ACS712 instead?

There are several other similar chips. I use the ACS758 all the time. Great little ICs.

Thanks for the replies. Is there an IC that comes in a DIP package to measure currents form 0 to approx. 20A ?
