So i wired 2 led blocks togather, then ran them of course to ground, and on the power side i ran them thru a pot and then across a toggle, but only half come on, is this because i wired them in serial? or something else, i did test each led block when i got them and they worked fine.

 

I have no idea what you are talking about, as I don't see a schematic nor a photograph nor a datasheet nor a link to where you bought them.

I don't know what your "LED blocks" are.

 

The Led blocks are a small board of 5 leds incased togather [12vdc], but i when thru some of my core school stuff just now and i'm pretty sure the problem lies with them being in serial, i'll just move the power for the second one on to the pot with the first one instead of connected to the first led block. Should take more then 15 mins to solder it in and test anywayz,
