half adder and full adder

    i want to know the application of half adder and full adder .
    i google it but didnt find satisfied ans.

    When might you want to add things? Those are all applications suitable for an adder.

    ALUs, CRC calculations, and numerical offsets are all things that come to mind in a few seconds, but there are many, many more reasons for adders (not the snakes.... Though, I guess a half adder is good for half a belt, and a full adder is good for exercise ;)).

    A half adder is used for the first stage where there is no carry in. The full adder is used for all of the remaining stages, because they require a carry in.
