Hey there,

Given the circuit attached and with reference to (a) i was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction with the analysis of this circuit?

Namely im struggling with the concept of the resistor R1 that connects Vin and Vout

any help would be appreciated.

If one is not familiar with Millman's Theorem the "conventional" approach is also relatively straightforward.
