graphs in datasheet

    Are you comfortable with graphs provided in the datasheets? or you are more a " mathematical equation" person?

    Comfortable? They're essential! A picture is better than an equation every time.

    A picture is worth a thousand words (and a lot easier to decipher than one equation).

    Equations in a datasheet give approximations, the graphs give plotted data..

    most people don't necessarily want nor have the time to do the math. If its already done for us it makes our lives easier. How that data is presented really doesn't matter much as long as we can quickly get the information we need.

    For those cases where a chart cannot include every ones needs then I love datasheets where the math/formula is provided AND an example is included.
