Hi Guys and Gals...:p

On the subject of teevee repair / calibration...

I have a Philips Mod. 32PFL3504D/F7.

Any script appearing on screen, is badly disjointed / pixellated.

Are there any convergence adjustments on digital teevees ??

Somewhere there are instructions with codes to activate the adjustment section. I found some instructions in the schematic that came with my TV.
Something like, press channel up + channel down while standing on one foot and shouting, "pixellati minimus!". After you get into the adjustment section, you can adjust the horizontal oscillator out of range so the TV will never start, and several other helpful options.

Unfortunately, I think Killjoy is right. You're after a bad part, not an adjustment.

It would help a lot if you could describve the TV type and age (for those of use who don't memorise all the model numbers anymore) , and provide a photo of the fault. :)

It is an LCD, of Oct. 2009...

I am discovering that this is a function of picture format, and one particular set of music stations it was tuned to... it is not a set I watch regularly... my Philips 50" LCD is flawless...

I shall look closer given time... I may not have the problem I thought...
